The short version
Inkwipe does not collect, upload or share your photos or any personal information. Everything you edit stays on your computer.
Your photos
Photos you open, the AI object removal, and everything you draw are processed entirely on your own computer. Nothing is sent to a server.
Information Inkwipe stores on your computer
- A list of recently opened files, so they can appear on the start screen.
- A crash log, if the app hits an error. It stays on your computer and is only shared if you choose to send it.
- The AI model file, if you downloaded it from inside the app.
These are kept in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Inkwipe and in your Windows user settings. Uninstalling Inkwipe or deleting that folder removes them.
Internet use
Inkwipe works offline. The only time it connects to the internet is if you click Download AI model, which downloads the model file from GitHub. No information about you or your photos is sent.
No tracking, no accounts, no ads in the app
The app has no analytics, no advertising and no sign-in.
This website
The download website may show ads served by Google AdSense, which can use cookies to show relevant ads. You can control this at Google's ad settings. The app itself is not affected.
Children
Inkwipe does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Questions about privacy can be sent through the Inkwipe GitHub page.
